Audience participation - frequency and duration - controlled the final density of the line drawn around the gallery walls. Viewers were invited to use the aluminum trucks as drawing instruments by sliding their exposed metal edges along the walls. The line was 3/8th inches thick and 16 inches from the floor and touched all available wall surfaces. This participatory drawing references traditional Renaissance silverpoint and goldpoint drawing processes.
